Female founded & created in Los Angeles, we are committed to giving back to our community through The Citizen Hyde Initiative.
During a design process that spanned over many years, we worked tirelessly to create products that effortlessly pair classic style with functional security, personal privacy & convenience.
Our collection is inspired by the staples in our own wardrobes: sophisticated, minimalist designs in classic colorways with clean lines, crafted using sustainable, high-quality materials that stand the test of time & outlast any trend.
We only design & sell products that we want and use ourselves which allow you to HYDE the things you care about most in a proud and stylish way.

CITIZEN HYDE bags allow you to HYDE anything you want to keep protected, from phones to recreational fun to vibrators, money, watches, jewelry, cash, etc. Our bags act like a safe for your most valuable items.

Are your products vegan?
Yes. We use only vegan leather for our bags, flashlight and passport holders and plant based wax for our candles.
Our Lock
How are your bags like a safe and what precautions do I need to take?
While CITIZEN HYDE bags are stylish and functional they are designed with security, personal privacy & convenience in mind featuring LOCKED compartments and should be treated as such.
Please read all instructions below to optimize and protect your LOCKED experience. CITIZEN HYDE is not responsible for forgotten combinations, human error or lock malfunction.
How do I set my lock?

How should I choose my combination?
To avoid getting locked out please choose a combination that is easy to remember, like your best friend’s birthday, childhood address or even a favorite time (ours is 420).
How can I save or store my lock combination?
Once you set your lock following our specific instructions, email the combination to yourself. Title the email Combination so you can recover it easily. In addition, write it down and store it in a safe place.
What do I do if I get locked out of my bag?
Log into your email and search for the email you sent yourself with the combination. If it’s an emergency, you can access your bag by cutting or ripping the fabric, however please note we are not responsible for repairing damaged products, including emergency instances.
Can I use my CITIZEN HYDE bag without locking it?
Of course! That's part of our intelligent design. Simply keep your buckle lock set on your unique combination for unlocked entry. Please keep in mind that the numbers may shift in transit so always know your set combination at all times!
